Stallholder Focus: Sanders of Oxford

Sanders of Oxford is one of the largest print sellers in Britain, and will be joining us at our Independent Oxford Christmas Market on 26th November at the Old Fire Station.

Their collection features a varied and wide-ranging stock of more than 30,000 items. Their shop has long been a landmark on the High Street in Oxford, continuing a tradition established in the middle of the 19th century of trading in antique prints, antique maps and drawings.

The range of prints and maps that Sanders offer is vast, ranging from British Topography to Mythological as well as Mezzotint Portraits, Topographical, Decorative, Sporting, Caricatures, Maritime, Military, Natural History, Literary and Fine Art prints. We love these John Dilnot prints! >>

If you’re after a print of our wonderful Oxford then Sanders range is unrivaled. They also stock maps of every part of the world, printed between the 17th and 19th centuries and have a good selection of 18th, 19th and early 20th century Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints (Japanese prints) and book illustrations.

Sanders will be joining us for our wonderful Christmas Market which, this year will be held across two venues, Turl Street Kitchen and the Old Fire Station with 30 stalls between them! As well as a whole host of brilliant Oxfordshire indies, there will be a great selection of workshops from The Annie Sloan Shop, Petite Fleur, Create Craft Kits and Merrie & Bright.
