L’Altre Vi Red Wine
A real treat for a special Fathers’ Day meal. Wine growers and makers Josep Maria and Rebeca use a unique process of ageing in oak, amphora and glass demijohn before bottling. The result is a fabulous wine that strikes the right balance between smooth easy drinking and full bodied richness. Toasted notes, tobacco leaves and red fruity juiciness are prominent on the nose. On the tastebuds there is a wave of sweetness from those juicy fruits, followed by vanilla overtones. This wine is incredibly well balanced. Delicious. Suitable for Vegan dads and granddads too.
Limited production: 2266 bottles. Your bottle will be individually numbered.

Bearded Viking Drinks Chocolate Orange Old Fashion
Back in the early 1800s this was simply known as a ‘cocktail’ or perhaps a ‘bittered sling’ if you were feeling particularly adventurous. No wonder it has survived more than two centuries; there are very few other drinks that can match its straightforward yet complex composition.
Chocolate and orange go as well together as bourbon and bitters, so Caitlin and Mathias soak their bourbon with orange peel for a few days before blending it with demerara sugar syrup and intense chocolate bitters.
Perfect for Dad, or anyone who likes tasty stuff, really.
£7.50, including free Oxford weekend bike delivery within the ring road and in OX4.
